The New England Feldenkrais Teacher Training has been canceled.
For the past 2 years, in keeping with the Mind in Motion mission to develop the future of the Feldenkrais Method, we have devoted considerable time and resources toward finding an academic host for the New England Feldenkrais Teacher Training (NEFTT). Discussions with universities throughout New England confirmed that the method is well known and highly respected in academia. Even so, despite our best efforts and the generous support of many Feldenkrais teachers and potential trainees, we are sorry to report that we haven't been able to locate a suitable venue for the training.
In order to focus on our existing international program of public workshops and post-graduate training programs for Feldenkrais teachers, and to develop the Mind in Motion online (MIMO) website into an online school as well as a hub for collaborative learning, we have decided not to continue working toward establishing the NEFTT.
Larry Goldfarb, along with the Mind in Motion faculty, are continuing to develop premier Advanced Trainings (Master Classes) for graduated Feldenkrais practitioners and fourth-year trainees in accredited teacher trainings—and we sincerely hope to see you at one of these programs in the future!
