Feldenkrais Training in New York City

Training Venue

The NYFTT is the third professional Feldenkrais training to be held in New York City. A major Ð if not the Ð major metropolitan center of the planet, New York provides a vibrant background for the training. With active communities of practitioners, New York and the surrounding region are one of the hotbeds of Feldenkrais learning and teaching.

The training program will be held at the IM School of Healing Arts, located at 122 West 26th Street, Eighth Floor. In the Chelsea area of Manhattan, the center offers a welcoming setting for a training program. The school is close to several subway lines and has public parking, restaurants, shopping and other amenities close by.

Even though we expect people to commute to New York from nearby areas, we hope to attract a number of participants from further away. With three airports, excellent public transportation links to major cities on the Eastern Seaboard and a wide range of housing options ranging from cozy bed and breakfasts to full-service hotels, the City is a natural site for a regional training.
